Welcome to our website. The CCCS is an enthusiastic group of singers and musicians from all ages and backgrounds led by a professional artistic director. We are united by a love of performing choral and other music for audiences in Canada and abroad in the belief that beautiful music will forever unite and uplift people’s hearts.

WHO WE ARE
Members of the CCCS are from all backgrounds, drawn together by a love of performing choral music from various cultures. In addition to works from Croatia’s rich musical heritage, we sing in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese and Greek.
New members of all ages are warmly welcomed, and aside from a love of singing, no formal musical training is required and members do not need to speak any language other than English.
OUR HISTORY
The choir is guided by the talented, enthusiastic hands of Artistic Director Mia Milicevic and Pianist, Accompanist & Music Arranger Adam Mezgec. Their team approach embraces new music technology and a combination of in-person and virtual rehearsing to produce the choir’s beautiful, uplifting sound that has captured the attention of enthusiastic audiences in Canada and Europe. We remain grateful to and inspired by director emeritus and founding artistic director, Edward Mavrinac, who helped establish the choir in 2013 and guided us with devotion for a decade.
Under Mia and Adam, we continue honouring our history and traditional Croatian roots while embracing the future by presenting traditional and contemporary choral music in dynamic, engaging performances for our valued patrons, sponsors and audiences.
OUR PASSION
CCCS members share a love of singing choral and popular music from many cultures in many languages. Since 2013, we have performed formal Spring and Christmas concerts for large audiences and given free informal concerts at retirement and seniors’ homes and other venues across the GTHA.

We remain committed to fostering a vibrant, enthusiastic choral community for members of all ages and cultural backgrounds and building a legacy of love for choral music by encouraging and developing future generations of choristers.
