CCCS ushered in the Christmas season with heartfelt performances at four seniors’ residences.
The choir sang at Levante Bough Beeches Place on December 4th, Chartwell Oakville and
Sunrise of Oakville’s memory care program on December 8th and welcomed the new year at the
newly opened Ashley Oaks Retirement Residence on January 4th.
Residents’ faces lit up as they clapped and sang along to classics like Jingle Bells, It’s Beginning
to Look a Lot Like Christmas, Deck the Halls, and Croatian favorites Sretan Božić
Svakome and Raduj te se Narodi. Under the direction of Mia Miličević and accompanied by
Adam Mezgec on piano, the choir closed each performance by taking song requests, making
every moment even more special.
The joy and connection through music was a heartwarming reminder of the season’s true spirit.
