The Canadian Croatian Choral Society gave a free spring performance on Sunday, April 24, 2016, at the Wesburn Manor Long Term Care Home in Etobicoke for both residents and their families, continuing our goal to enrich the lives of all in attendance by celebrating the joy of singing.
Once the Christmas season arrived, the CCCS performed at Vistamere Retirement Residence in Oakville on Sunday December 10, 2016. Our usual repertoire was woven with Christmas carols as we led all residents and guests in singing carols spreading holiday cheer.
Immediately following the performance at Vistamere, the choir sang in the lobby of the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. The choir’s first musical visit to a hospital was a success as patients, staff and guests were treated to selections from our rich choral repertoire. The choral music soared and beautifully echoed throughout the impressive hospital lobby, elevating the spirits of all present.
